Key takeaways
▸Check for an SSL certificate by looking for a green bar at the top of the casino's homepage before entering your payment information.
▸Stick to small and big bets that pay out for dice totals of 4-10 or 11-17 rather than riskier proposition bets.
▸Compare payout percentages across casinos, as a 95% payout rate means you'll receive $95 back for every $100 wagered instead of keeping only $5.
▸Review the specific wagering requirements and time limits on welcome bonuses before depositing, since bonuses often restrict which games you can use them on.

History of Sic Bo
1900-1800
Origin
Originally, Sic Bo was played with wooden blocks. Over time, these were replaced with three dice. Nonetheless, the objective always remained the same, to bet correctly on a combination of numbers.
1800-1900
Moved to America
The Chinese moved to America and brought Sic Bo with them. Immigrants would gamble on Sic Bo.
1900-1970
Played by Europeans
Sic Bo was then noticed by Europeans. In 1970, a casino hotel opened with a Sic Bo game, right next to the roulette wheel.
1970s-2000s
Vegas Casinos
With an instant success in Macau, Vegas casinos took note and brough it to their back rooms for Chinese gamblers. As Sic Bo gained popularity in Vegas, it was introduced on the main floor. This introduced it to non-Chinese gamblers in 1995.
21st Century
Online Casinos
Although it started off with a slow start in Europe, UK and Canada, it picked up thanks to online casinos. Nowadays, Sic Bo can be found at the leading operators.
About the Game
You simply need to know about the two main components: the board and the 3 dice. To win the game you need to correctly predict the number that comes up or the total of the 3 dice. Each bet will consist of a different payout and you can bet on different outcomes at once. The most important terms that you need to know about include:

Total
Here you bet on the total of the three dice ranging from numbers 4 to 16.
Single
Here you bet on a number that will appear on at least one dice.
Double
Here you bet that your chosen number will be rolled on two of the dice.
Triple
Here you bet that a number will end up on all 3 dice. At most casinos, the payout for a Triple bet is 30:1 with some that can also pay out 180:1. Obviously, the probability that all 3 dice will have the same number is very slim, but if you win, the price will be generous.

Choosing a Sic Bo Casino
Everyone wants to play high quality games at the best casinos around. Before searching for a casino make sure to have a list of criteria that you are looking for. These can be very beneficial for your game play. MrCasinova suggests that you consider 3 main factors. These are:
1️⃣ A High Payout Percentage The payout rate is how much the casino will pay out in winnings when compared to how much money was wagered. For example, if the payout rate is at 95%, the casino will pay out $95 for every $100 wagered. The difference, in this case the 5% or $5, is kept by the casino. Therefore, if you play Sic Bo at online casinos with high payouts, you can definitely increase your chances of winning.
2️⃣ Best BonusesAround When signing up with the newest casino sites, you will definitely want to benefit from a welcome bonus. Usually this bonus is based according to your deposit amount and other wagering requirements. You’ll be allocated a period of time or type of game that you have to spend the bonus on. This is why it is always best to check out the requirements and details before signing up.
3️⃣ Safety & Security Always check that the Sic Bo online casino that you choose is safe by looking for the green bar at the top of the homepage that indicates that they have obtained an SSL certificate and encryption, check for the safe payment methods available, check for firewalls and whether security checks are done regularly. By doing so, you would be more confident that your money and personal details are in safe hands.
